Beam Radius Control

The simplest and most economical solution in which the beam radius can be continually adjusted is to use a round adaptive optical unit on the resonator itself. This can directly replace the spherical mirror of an existing telescopic beam extender.

LT Ultra will fabricate the round adaptive optical unit with the required radius and desired adjustment range. Admittedly, the use of such spherical optics is limited to a deflection angle of less than 15°. Here too, LT Ultra has suitable leveling brackets and alignment tools manufactured in the same customary professional quality.

Variant 1
Beam Radius Control

Alternatively, adaptive optical devices with an elliptical membrane can be used to deflect the beam by 90°. Generally, these devices are used to deflect the beam directly from the resonator before reaching the machine.
