CHM-32-1064: This lens cutting head has manual focal positioning and an integrated gas guidance system.

The process gas is connected at the top of the head to minimize the chances of a collision in the work area region.

Without any additional tools, the focal positioning can be accurately adjusted, quite comfortably from the exterior of the head, with the help of etched scale graduations. The focal adjustment range is 8 mm (-2 mm/+6 mm)

The head is equipped with a horizontal jet adjustment, which can be fitted with different distance sensors. The head is available with focal lengths of 150 mm and 200 mm and has a 32 mm clear aperture.

CHA-32-1064: This lens cutting head does not have a manually adjustable mechanical focal positioning system – instead it uses adaptive optics to dynamically adjust the focal position, which are also available from LT Ultra.

The advantages of this head are its smaller installation height, reduced weight and far greater stability because of the reduction in the number of mechanical components.

The result, when combined with our adaptive optics, is an excellent cutting unit with very dynamic and automatic focal adjustment / correction while cutting. Its slender design makes it an equally excellent choice for 3D applications.
