The QCS-32 automatic process head exchange unit has a clear aperture of 32 mm and enables differently configured process heads to be easily exchanged. In doing so, it serves both cutting and welding applications by simply exchanging the process head.

Alternatively, the unit can be used to exchange heads with different focal points or measuring equipment.

Just as with a machine tool, the exchange is performed fully automatically. A tool repository is all that is required to be installed on the machine.

Up to 4 gas channels can be interfaced to the unit along with a distance sensor signal. Control signals (open, closed, tool available) are registered with the system controller via applicable sensors.

The standard QCS-32 model comes with the LT Ultra 3D collision protection clutch, manufactured to the same high quality.
