Cross-hair alignment target inserts are available for all LT Ultra beam bending units (BUS, BUC, BU3"). These inserts are machined with very high precision and can be used in other beam delivery components, such as the processing head, providing of course that the mirrors are of the same construction.

This insert takes the place of the mirror inside the beam bending unit to aid beam alignment correct delivery to the process head. Alignment accuracies of better than ±0.2mm off-centre are easily accomplished.

The insert is self centering and the actual mirror is protected from contamination during the setup process.
